After years of forced isolation due to
the COVID pandemic, on May 5th 2022,
I gathered with some of my favorite
musicians to record some music at the Guerilla Recording
Studio in Oakland CA.

On this recording we played
compositions, written by Cole Porter,
Thelonious Monk, Jimmy Van Heusen,
Irving Berlin, Sonny Rollins and myself.

I would like to dedicate this recording to
the memory of my long time musical
collaborator and friend, John Finkbeiner,
who would have certainly been part of
this project had we not lost him to
cancer in 2021.

Lastly, and most of all, it is my hope and
dream that the performances captured
on this recording can bring some joy
into this world.
